Introduction

The engineering programme team currently offers programmes ranging from Diploma to Bachelor of Science (Hons) degrees. It strengthens two main disciplines: Engineering Mechanics, Materials and Design (EMMD) and Product Design and Technology (PDT) aiming at training graduates to suit the ever-changing and challenging environment and industrial development and demands.

In recent years, the HKSAR government has initiated a number of measures to develop Hong Kong into a "Centre for innovation and technology" to serve the greater Pearl River Delta region.  his development has led to increased demands for engineering professionals trained in handling a diverse range of prcesses and technologies related to original product design as well as product re-design.
