Overview

 

This programme suite consists of the following postgraduate degrees:

- Master of Science in Information Technology with Internet Applications (MSCITIA) [60 credits]

- Postgraduate Diploma in Internet Technology and Applications (PDITA) [40 credits]

- Postgraduate Certificate in Multimedia and Internet Technology (PCMIT) [20 credits]

 

This programme suite is offered only in distance learning (part-time) mode.

 

Credit exemption may be offered to students who have a higher degree from recognized institutions. Please refer to the [Credit Exemption for Postgraduate Programmes] link for precedent cases.

 

In-depth Coverage of key IT and Internet areas

 

This programme provides students with technical competency in the development and application of IT through selected areas in Internet applications.

 

Students are expected to develop the capacity to make IT/IA decisions as well as integrating advanced IT/IA knowledge and skills in their line of work.

 

Multiple Exit Points

 

The programme suite offers two early exit points. Students can obtain the Master degree step by step

- Postgraduate Certificate in Multimedia and internet Technology (PCMIT) (20 credits)

- Postgraduate Diploma in Internet Technology and Applications (PDITA) (40 credits)
