Master of Science in Information Technology with Internet Applications (MSCITIA)

In-depth coverage of key IT and Internet areas

This programme provides students with technical competency in the development and application of IT through selected areas in Internet applications. It helps students in developing the capacity to make IT/IA decisions as well as integrating advanced IT/IA knowledge and skills in their line of work.

Hands-on experience

All courses provide students with opportunities to practise the newly acquired knowledge and skills. There will be mini-projects in most courses to enable students to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations.

Progression from Postgraduate Certificate

The Postgraduate Certificate in Multimedia and internet Technology (PCMIT), which covers skills in selected multimedia and Internet technologies, can contribute 20 credits to the 60-credit MSCITIA programme. By successful completion of 20 credits of suitable courses according to the programme rules, MSCITIA students can obtain a PCMIT first and then continue to study the MSCITIA programme.
