Li Tak Sing is an Associate Professor in Computing, School of Science & Technology. He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, M.Sc. in Computer Science and PhD in Computer Science from the Queen's University of Belfast. His research interests are in mesh generation, solid modelling, computational geometry and computer aided design. |

Dr. Andrew Kwok-Fai Lui is an Associate
Professor in Applied Computing, School of Science and Technology.
He received his B.Sc from the University of Sydney and Ph.D in Computer
Science and Engineering from the Australian National University.
Before joining OUHK, he worked as a Research Scientist at the Defence
Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), Australia , and in a
post-doctorate position at the Australian Defence Force Academy,
University College, University of New South Wales. |

Dr Vanessa NG Sin-Chun is an Associate Professor in Applied Computing, School of Science and Technology. She received her BSc (Hon) in Information Technology and PhD in Electronic Engineering from City University of Hong Kong. After her first graduation, she joined IBM China/Hong Kong Corporation as a Systems Operation Specialist. Two years later, she took up the full-time research work in the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. From September 1996 to May 2001, she was a Lecturer in Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan). Her research interests include digital signal processing, multimedia technology, neural networks and evolutionary computation. She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a corporate member of IET and a senior member of IEEE and IEEE Signal Processing Society. |

Kelvin Lee is a Assistant Professor in Applied Computing of School of Science & Technology. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Master of Philosophy Degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He had been a programmer and taught in secondary school. He is interested in topics including Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), TCP/IP and the use ofInformation Technology . His paper in ATM has been classified as one of the top 3 distinguished papers in the Hong Kong IEEE Postgraduate Student Paper Contest 95. |

Dr. Sheung-On Choy received his BEng (Hons) and PhD degrees from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From 1993 to 1999, he was with the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a research staff. Before joining the OUHK, he was a lecturer in the School of Professional and Continuing Education, the University of Hong Kong. His research interests include digital image processing, multimedia technology, distributed computing, and Internet computing. He is a member of IEEE and IEEE Computer Society. |

Before joining the OUHK, she worked with the Department of Computing in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Instructor. Her research interests include data warehousing and data mining. |

Dr. Wong Sze Mui Anita is an associate professor in mathematics. She received her undergraduate BSc degree and a MSc degree from the London University, and obtained a PhD from the City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include computational modelling, solving partial differential equations and mesh-less approximation methods. |

Calvin Tsui Kam Yan is a lecturer in mathematics. He is a holder of BSc (Hon) in Mathematics from the Open University of Hong Kong, Msc in Applied Mathematics from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Before joining the OUHK, he was a mathematics teacher for senior classes of a secondary school. He is now studying Master of Statistics at the University of Hong Kong and my research interests include Time Series Analysis and Linear Models. |
