Academic Peer Mentorship Scheme (新生學習輔導及學生輔導領袖)

The academic mentorship scheme is designed for senior computing students to provide additional help to new Year 1 (and sometimes Year 2) students. Senior students have gathered valuable experience which may make the adaptation to university study a lot easier. To some students, seeking help from peer students is often less "threatening" and more "comfortable".

Peer mentors are volunteer senior computing students who are appointed to provide peer leadership to the junior students. They are imperative in building a caring environment for new Year 1/2 computing students and exerting a positive influence and outlook on studying here at the OUHK and beyond.
