If you have a good reason that prevents you from submitting a TMA by the cut-off date, you may obtain permission from the appropriate authority for late submission. Permission has to be obtained in advance. Depending on the length of the extension, you should contact the following authority for permission:
| Within 7 days from the cut-off date | Contact your tutor for permission |
| 8 to 21 days after the cut-off date | Contact the Course Coordinator for approval. You may telephone him/her direct or send an email to the School/Institute concerned. Ask him/her to send a copy of the approval letter to your tutor and the Tutors, Assignments and Time-tabling Office. |
| More than 21 days from the cut-off date | Under very exceptional circumstances, the Dean/Director
of the School/Institute acting on recommendation of your tutor and Course
Coordinator may consider granting permission for late submission.
Therefore, you should contact your tutor and Course Coordinator first and obtain their support before writing to the Dean/Director for approval. |
| Last TMA | There is NO extension for the last TMA. |
