The OUHK's recent Christmas party lucky draw became more hi-tech, thanks to efforts of the organizer -- the Information Technology Unit (ITU). Instead of drawing numbers from a cardboard box, guests simply had to click the computer mouse and the results appeared immediately -- save for a few technical hiccups -- on the stage screen for all to see.

As in past years, the talent quest attracted a wide array of competitors. Mailroom staff grabbed the trophy with the song 'I am an OU person'. The greatest surprise was from Prof. Ronnie Carr, Dean of the School of Education and Languages, when he took off his academic gown to reveal a kilt. The School regaled the audience with three choices for a Scottish national anthem.
