HKPC and OUHK form partnership to provide professional business training

Mr Edmund Sung (left), Acting Director (Services and Business) of the HKPC and Prof. Ip Yiu-keung, Dean of the School of Business and Administration, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 18 December last year to develop educational and training programmes on business administration. The HKPC and the School also agreed to organize conferences, seminars and workshops, and forge links with international and regional academic and professional bodies.

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the OUHK School of Business and Administration will jointly offer a one-year course for business executives-- the Joint Corporate Training Programme (JCTP) -- in April this year. Modelled on the University's Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration (PCBA) programme, the JCTP is comprehensive and practical, covering major areas in business administration including human resource management, financial management, marketing, management information systems, accounting, and operations research. Students who successfully complete the JCTP will be awarded the PCBA and are eligible for direct entry into the University's Master of Business Administration programme.
