The SAO invited office bearers of student societies and the Alumni Association to attend an orientation and sharing session on 2 November last year. Mr Cheung Wing-chung, an ICAC senior officer, gave a presentation on programme planning and basic legislative knowledge in handling money-related matters when organizing activities. Twenty representatives of the student bodies and the Alumni Association participated in the discussions and had a constructive exchange of views and ideas with members of the University's Committee on Student Affairs. |

Education Society formed Students from the School of Education and Languages gathered at the Bank of China Lecture Theatre on campus on 14 December to establish the Education Society. Caroline Chu, Katy Chan and Louie Lo are the Society's chairperson, treasurer and secretary respectively. Tutor Ho Lok-tin gave a talk on the application of information technology in schools. The Society plans to organize activities relating to teachers' information technology skills and the Language Benchmark Tests. MBA Association: wine tasting On 27 November last year, MBA Association members were given a talk by Johnny So on ways to serve, preserve and decant wine, as well as tips on distinguishing different wine types. Mr So has more than 20 years experience in the industry. Many participants bought their favourite wines at a good price and had a wonderful time.
