The School of Education and Languages aims to contribute to

• initial teacher education and the professional development of teachers in Hong Kong;
• language education for teachers;
• early childhood education; 
• enhancing the language proficiency of students in the OUHK.

The School offers about 30 programmes leading to the award of qualifications from the sub-degree level to the doctoral level.
