The double-degree programme is jointly offered by the School of Education and Languages and Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration. It aims to foster a group of bilingual business graduates who possess a high level of English and Chinese proficiency and comprehensive knowledge of business for the pursuit of a career in international enterprises and organisations.

The importance of good language and communication skills cannot be underestimated in the global business environment in which being able to reach out to other nations is essential. This programme is specifically designed so that students will be equipped with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and technical know-how in business and management and will be able to communicate in high-calibre written and spoken English and Chinese in the business context. Courses of this programme include 1) bilingual communication; 2) business and management; 3) synergy courses on using and analysing business English and Chinese; and 4) General Education. Students will also have a chance to go on a language and culture immersion programme at the University of Warwick and take part in an internship project in an overseas/local business corporation.
