    Application Procedures

    Notes to Applicants
    　
    1.
    Applicants must complete and submit an 'Undergraduate Programmes' application online.
    2.
    If you submit more than one application, the University will only accept and process the first application.
    3. This application is for new admission only.  Current OUHK undergraduate students who wish to apply for another programme should approach the Admissions & Enrolment Office (Undergraduate), Registry.
    4.
    There is a separate application procedure for applicants who will be sitting for the 2021 National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao).  Such applicants should refer to Admissions for Mainland Students for the details.  All applications must be submitted via online application on or before 31 May 2021 (Monday).
    5.
    You are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of HK$300 (for local applicants) or HK$515 (for non-local applicants*).  Below are the payment methods:
    • via ONLINE payment by either VISA or MasterCard; 
    • via PPS (Online Instant Payment) if you are a PPS registered user; OR
    • via WeChat Pay / AliPay.
    *According to EDB, the definition of non-local students is:

    students holding-
    • student visa/entry permit; 
    • visa/entry permit under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates; or
    • dependent visa/entry permit who were 18 years old or above when they were issued with this visa/entry permit by the Director of Immigration.
    6.
    You are required to attach the following supporting document(s) with your application:
    • a photocopy of your HKID / Passport with the word 'copy' written across the face; 
    • a copy of academic transcript(s) / certificate(s) with examination results;
    • additional document(s) as required for certain programmes (if any).
    Original document(s) will need to be presented for verification at a later time, upon request by the University. Graduates of 2021 can submit the copies of certificates later.
    7.
    Please note that application without supporting document(s) may not be processed and may cause delays.
     
    Applications will normally be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Applicants are advised to submit their applications as early as possible.
    　
    Important Notes:
    • Only the shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews.  Applicant may consider your application for 2021 admission to be unsuccessful if you do not receive any result from the University by mid-September 2021.
      　
    • All information provided in the Application Form and other attachments will only be used for admission purposes.  If an offer has not been made to the applicant, all documents submitted will be destroyed and will not be returned after the completion of admission exercise.
       
    • The University reserves the right to cancel any programmes and amend the programme contents, if necessary.
