General Admission Requirements

The following are the general entrance requirements under the new 3-3-4 system:

 

General Entrance Requirements

 

1.

To be eligible to apply for admission to full-time Bachelor Degree programmes with Honours, a student shall have attained in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination:
 

Level 3 or above in Chinese and English; Level 2 or above in Mathematics , Liberal Studies and

an elective subject #A

 

There is no specific elective subject requirement for programmes. 

   

2.

Students who do not possess HKDSE qualification are eligible to apply for admission if they have a qualification equivalent to HKDSE.  They should submit the application directly to the University under the non-JUPAS route.
   
  Applicants who have already applied through the JUPAS scheme 2014 are NOT eligible to apply for those programmes  through non-JUPAS application.
   

Programme-Specific Entrance Requirements

To be eligible to apply for admission to Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General Health Care (9740) and Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in Mental Health Care  (9750), a student shall have attained in the HKDSE Examination with Level 3 or above in Chinese and English, plus Level 2 or above in Mathematics, Liberal Studies and an elective subject, where the elective subject should preferably be a science subject: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, Integrated Science or Health Management and Social Care.

 
To be eligible to apply for admission to Bachelor of Science with Honours in Testing and Certification (9760), a student shall have attained in the HKDSE Examination with Level 3 or above in Chinese and English, plus Level 2 or above in Mathematics, Liberal Studies and an elective subject, where the elective subject should preferably be a science subject: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science or Integrated Science.
