Qualification Check

(For applicants holding non-mainland academic qualifications)

You are required to complete the qualification check on or before the deadline as indicated in your offer letter.

What should you bring?

Please bring along the following documents with you:

  1. Offer Letter
  2. Your Hong Kong Identity Card/ Passport/ PRC Resident Identity Card (for PRC resident)/ Student Identity Card
  3. Original documents of your qualifications (e.g. award certificates, academic transcripts) and proof of work experience as provided in your application or other related documents
    1. If you are applying for PGDEP1/ PGDEP2/ PGDEP3 and PGDES1/ PGDES3:
      • Original document of Study Plan and Principal’s Consent Letter
    2. If you are applying for PGDEP4/ PGDEP5/ PGDEP6 and PGDES4/ PGDES5:
      • Original document of Study Plan and Principal’s Consent Letter
    3. If you are applying for CED1/ CED2:
      • Original document of Study Plan and Principal’s Consent Letter
    4. If you are applying for DECE/ DECE1:
      • Original document of Study Plan and Principal’s Consent Letter

If you are unable to complete the Qualification Checking in person…

You may authorize a person to act on your behalf. Your representative will be asked to present the following:

  1. The completed Authorization Letter (Click HERE to download the Letter)
  2. Your representative’s ID proof
  3. A photocopy of your ID proof
If you fail to complete the Qualification Check…

Failure to complete the qualification check may result in the withdrawal of your admission offer. The enrolment in the course(s) concerned will be cancelled. The relevant course fee that you have paid will be refunded in early February 2020. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable or transferable to another term or for another use.
