Qualification Check

You are required to present the original documents to complete qualification check on or before the deadline as indicated in your offer letter.

What should you bring?

Please bring along the following documents with you:

  1. Offer Letter
  2. Identity Document
    • For local applicants:
      HKID card
    • For mailand/ overseas applicants:
      PRC Resident Identity Card/ passport or other identity proof
    • Or Student Identity Card
  3. Academic Qualifications/ Work Experience Proof
    • Academic transcript and award certificates of qualification
    • Proof of work experience
    • Or other supporting documents
  4. Additional Documents Required by Specific Programmes:
    1. If you are applying for PGDEP1/ PGDEP2/ PGDEP3 and PGDES1/ PGDES3:
      • Original document of Study Plan and Principal's Consent Letter
    2. If you are applying for PGDEP4/ PGDEP5/ PGDEP6 and PGDES4/ PGDES5:
      • Original document of Study Plan and Principal's Consent Letter with undertaking for teching practice
    3. If you are applying for CED1/ CED2:
      • Original document of Principal’s Consent Letter
    4. If you are applying for DECE/ DECE1:
      • Original document of Consent letter from Principal/ Head of Organisation

How to authorize a person if you are not able to present the documents in person?

You may authorize a person to act on your behalf. Your representative will be asked to present the following:

  1. The completed Authorization Letter (Click HERE to download the Letter)
  2. Your representative’s ID proof
  3. A photocopy of your ID proof
What will happen if you fail to complete the Qualification Check?

Failure to complete the qualification check may result in the withdrawal of your admission offer. The enrolment in the course(s) concerned will be cancelled. The relevant course fee that you have paid will be refunded* in mid-March 2021. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable or transferable to another term or for another use.

*Only applicable to students who do not apply for financial assistance from the University for the concerned course(s).
