Florence Wong obtained her Bachelor’s degree with major in Economics and minor in Music, MSc degree in Information & Technology Management and Diploma in Business Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She earned another Master’s degree in Counselling from The City University of Hong Kong and a Postgraduate Certificate in Translation from the University of Hong Kong, SPACE.
Florence joined OUHK in 2010, responsible for appointment/re-appointment, human resources planning and establishment control. Currently, she oversees the Rewards and Recognition Team and the HRMS Project Team, undertaking two major HR projects, namely the HRMS Redevelopment Project and Pay & Reward System Review Project. Besides, she has been concurrently appointed as the University Equal Opportunities Officer since 2010.
Prior to joining the OUHK, Florence had worked for the Legislative Council Secretariat, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation and the Methodist Epworth Village Community Centre, in the areas of human resources, general administration and committee work, etc.
