    The Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) aims to give recognition not only to students with outstanding academic performance, but also those with achievements and talents in other non-academic fields.
    Who’s eligible?
    Students pursuing full-time locally-accredited self-financing sub-degree or bachelor's degree (including top-up degree) programmes at OUHK.
    Types of Scholarships:
    There are five types of scholarships under the Scheme, please click here for details or visit the Government website.
    • Outstanding Performance Scholarship (OPS)
    • Best Progress Award (BPA)
    • Endeavour Scholarship (EDS)
    • Talent Development Scholarship (TDS)
    • Reaching Out Award (ROA)
    How to Submit Self-Nomination?
    • Please login to submit self-nomination for
      Endeavour Scholarship (EDS), Talent Development Scholarship (TDS) or Reaching Out Award (ROA).
    • Applicants should seek recommendation from Schools
      (a full-time academic staff for endorsement of EDS/TDS or Programme Leader for ROA).
    • The awardees of Outstanding Performance Scholarship and Best Progress Award are nominated by Schools based on their academic achievement and other criteria of scholarships, students are not required to submit relevant applications.
    • Deadline: 6 December 2019 (EDS/TDS) and 8 January 2020 (ROA)
    The University has set up a Selection Panel, comprising the Provost (Chairman), School Deans, LiPACE and SAO Directors.  All the above scholarships and awards will be considered by the Sub-committee on SPSS on the nomination of the University.
    Notification of Result
    All applicants will be notified the nomination result by February 2020 and successful nominees will be informed of the result in around April 2020.
