    Dr. Marvin Cheung Dr. Marvin Cheung is a distinguished professional of the financial sector. For more than 30 years Dr. Cheung has worked with KPMG in Hong Kong. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KPMG's operations in China and Hong Kong from 1996 to 2003 when he retired. An active and zealous participant of public service, Dr. Cheung is currently Chairman of the Listing Committees of the Main Board and the Growth Enterprise Board of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Tracker Fund of Hong Kong and Board Member of the Hong Kong Airport Authority, to name just a few. He also serves on other regulatory or advisory bodies in the legal, financial, business, civic service, educational, charitable and cultural sectors. 

    Dr. Cheung was a member of the Legislative Council, the Urban Council and District Boards. He also served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants, Chairman of the Estate Agents Authority and Vice Chairman of the Mandatory Provident Fund Advisory Board, as well as Member of the Board of Inland Revenue, the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform, the Town Planning Board, the Consumer Council, the Council for the Performing Arts and other public service positions. Dr. Cheung was conferred a Silver Bauhinia Star award by the HKSAR government in 2000 and a Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa , by Hong Kong Baptist University last year. Dr. Cheung was born and educated in Hong Kong and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the United Kingdom gaining honours in all parts of his professional examinations.

    At the lecture, Dr. Cheung will give his views on what makes a good leader and the challenges in leadership. Dr. Cheung will also talk about his personal experience. 

    The talk will be conducted in English (Q&A session in English and Cantonese).

    All are welcome. OUHK alumni have priority in registration. Each participant may bring a maximum of two guests.
