Alumnus Mr Keith Lee
General Manager-Sales & Operations of Circle K Convenience Stores (HK) Ltd
Mr Keith Lee graduated from OUHK with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2002.
Realizing the importance of interacting with different people and gaining life experience, Mr. Lee made a breakthrough and decided to work for a chain convenient store as a shop assistant, instead of being a laboratory technician. With persistence and good efforts, Mr. Lee is now the General Manager-Sales & Operations of Circle K Convenience Stores (HK) Ltd. and manages over 3,000 workers and 360 stores in Hong Kong and Macau.
In 2000, Mr. Lee began to explore the market in Guangzhou. He then propelled his company forward by using many innovative ideas and knowledge which he gained from his six years of experience in the mainland.
‘Boss Spirit’, which is a key term in Mr. Lee’s management theory for Circle K stores, refers to the management technique that encourages staff to run the business as an owner to increase their sense of belonging. This special culture has attracted many young people under 25 to work for Circle K stores. Mr. Lee will share more on the ‘Boss Spirit’ during the talk.
All participants can join the lucky draw.
