Financial Assistance
The following financial assistance schemes are available for students:

Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)
Applicants who pass both the income test and the asset test will be offered with assistance in the forms of grants and/or loans. [Details]
Non-mean Tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS)
This scheme complements the FASP. Loans will be provided to cover applicants’ tuition fees. [Details]
Student Travel Subsidy (STS)
Applicable to needy students, residing beyond 10 minutes walking distance from their normal place of study and traveling by public transport.
Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE)
Means-tested grant for financially needy students to participate in outbound exchange programmes.
Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for Post-secondary Students (SSEBR)
Means-tested SSEBR/ Non-means-tested SSEBR are set to subsidize local students to participate in exchange activities held in the Belt and Road regions*.

Mainland Experience Scheme for Post-secondary Students (MES)
Non-means-tested grant to support students participating outbound exchange activity comprising substantive teaching and learning elements in the Mainland.
MTR Student Travel Scheme
Any full-time students who is aged 25 or below may apply for the MTR Student Travel Scheme.
Continuing Education Fund (CEF)
Applicant has attended no less than 70% of the contactable hours of the CEF reimbursable course or such higher attendance requirement as prescribed for the course (whichever is higher) and attained an overall mark of either 50% or such higher percentage of assessment(s) as prescribed for the course (whichever is higher) can apply for reimbursement of course fees. Applicants who apply for CEF for the first time or applicants who have opened CEF accounts before 1 April 2019 (regardless of whether their accounts were closed in the past), they may submit claims for reimbursement of fees for CEF reimbursable courses commenced on or after 1 April, 2019. The maximum entitlement for new applicants is HK$20,000. For applicants who have opened CEF accounts before 1 April 2019, they are eligible for claiming the additional HK$10,000 subsidy and the unused balance (if any) of the original subsidy of HK$10,000. The co-payment ratios by learners (i.e. the percentage of fees to be borne by learners) for the first HK$10,000 subsidy is 20% of the course fee and that for the second HK$10,000 subsidy is 40% of the course fee. Scholarships
The Institute offers various scholarships to award students with outstanding achievements.
Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) [Details]

Outstanding Performance Scholarship (OPS)
To give recognition to the performance of outstanding students. The scholarship is $30,000 each per year.

Best Progress Award (BPA)
To encourage and recognize students with significant progress and improvement. The value of each award is set at $10,000.

Talent Development Scholarship (TDS)
To recognize students who have demonstrated achievements or talent in non-academic areas and provide support for these students to further develop their talent and potential. The scholarship is set at $10,000 each.

Reaching Out Award (ROA)
To support meritorious students who are nominated by institutions to participate in learning, internship or service programmes, as well as national, regional and international events and competitions that are conducted outside Hong Kong and the award is set at $10,000 each.

Endeavour Scholarship (EDS)
To give recognition to deserving post-secondary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the pursuit of excellence in academic and other areas. The award is set at $15,000 each.
Excellent Academic Achievement
Students who have performed outstandingly in individual courses will be awarded course coupons for payment of tuition fee.
LiPACE Outstanding Academic Achievement Award
To commend students with outstanding academic achievements in their respective programmes. The amount of each award is set at $10,000.
LiPACE Student Exchange Scholarship
To support outstanding students participating in exchange programmes in Mainland China or overseas to broaden their horizons. The amount of each award is set at $5,000.
LiPACE Progression for Excellence Scholarship
To reward graduates of full-time Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma / Higher Diploma who have achieved the stipulated academic results and continue their study at LiPACE. The amount of each award is set at $10,000.
