Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989 as a provider of distance education, OUHK began offering full-time face-to-face degree programmes in 2001. Over the years we have grown into a leader in open and flexible education in the Asia Pacific region, and our full-time face-to-face programmes for qualified secondary school leavers are on par with other established universities across Hong Kong. The Division of Nursing and Health Studies of the School of Science & Technology offers a number of programmes in Nursing and Health Studies at Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor and Master level.
We are now inviting applications for the following post in the Division of Nursing and Health Studies:
Temporary Lecturer (Nursing) (Ref.: 17-TL-276-J)
The appointee is responsible for the following duties:
To assist in the course planning and development as well as undertake course coordination, clinical assessments and mentoring, and classroom teaching in related disciplines; and
To be expected to participate in scholarly activities and School/University activities.
Applicants are required to possess the followings:
A higher degree in Nursing or a related discipline;
Licensed by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong to practise as a Registered Nurse;
Relevant teaching/professional experience in the areas of Adult and Child Nursing, Mental Health Nursing or other Clinical Nursing Specialties is preferred; and
Good command of English and Chinese is required.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary full-time fixed term contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
