    Study units in ePub format provide a number of features to facilitate learning and enhance your reading experience. These include:

    Built-in dictionary

    This feature allows you to look up the meanings of words.

    This feature enables you to highlight important parts of the text (in several different colours), and to write notes as needed.

    iBookcase ebooks provide interactive versions of activities that enable you to input and save your answers, as well as providing instant answer-checking and feedback.

    Features highlight (pdf format)

    Course materials in PDF format (study units for part-time students, lecture notes for full-time students, and so on) are provided in iBookcase. These files can be viewed via Adobe Acrobat Reader on your tablet (see ‘other useful learning tools’ for the download procedure). Although the PDF format of study units has fewer features than the ePub format, you will find the following functions very useful in your study:
