MGT B240F Principles and Practices of Management is a five-credit, middle-level course in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme. It is a core course and must be taken by all students wishing to complete a BBA degree.
This course aims to help learners develop a basic understanding of: the management process; the fundamental principles and theories of management; the impact of managerial concepts and theories on practice; and the ways in which managers pursue their objectives. It also aims to help learners to develop their competence as a manager by applying concepts and theories in case studies and scenarios.
