The Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Business Intelligence and Analytics is intended for students who wish to pursue careers in data management, business intelligence, data analyst, business analyst, etc. It aims to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in data warehouse, big data management, business intelligence and business analytics technologies and techniques that are needed for enterprises to capitalize on all data resources to make better business decisions.
Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
  1. Explain and critically review business theories and concepts to identify issues, analyse situations, and develop solutions for multi-faceted problems in organisational settings.
  2. Critically evaluate issues and make informed judgements in view of the organisation’s strategies as well as ethical considerations.
  3. Make meaningful contributions as a leader and member in a team setting and communicate effectively.
  4. Command knowledge and skills of data warehousing, big data management, and business intelligence in analysing complex management issues.
  5. Integrate and apply advanced analytical skills and data management models to address complex business issues and support business decision-making.
  6. Assimilate and synthesise new knowledge in business intelligence and analytics to identify, analyse, and tackle challenges in organisations and develop practical recommendations.
