Entry Requirement

Applicants to the Master in International Human Resources Management programme must satisfy the following entry requirement:
  1. A recognized Bachelor’s degree or first year Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Management, Law, Humanities, Human Resources etc;
  2. A high level of motivation for a career in HRM;
  3. Professional experience in an international and/or HRM setting (e.g. internship, summer job, etc.);
  4. A demonstrated passion for operating in an international environment; and
  5. Fluent in English (see requirements below).
 

The following tests are accepted as proof of the English proficiency of applicants, along with the target (not required) score indicated:

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Internet Based Test: 100
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5 (No sub-score under 6)
  • First Certificate in English (FCE)
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
  • TOEIC (Test of English for International Communications)
      Listening and reading: 860/995
      Speaking and writing: 350/400
  • PTE Academic: 68
 

 
*Master in International Human Resources Management is an exempted course under the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance (Ref.No: 472762). It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which this course may lead.
