Professional Recognition

The School has fostered close partnerships and established multi-faceted collaborations with various local and overseas professional institutions. The scope of these collaborations includes the following :

To accredit the School's business programmes by granting exemptions on professional examinations.
To develop educational and training programmes in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
To develop teaching materials for educational and training programmes.
To organize conferences, seminars and workshops.
To cooperate in research, publication and consultancy.
To establish international and regional academic and professional linkages.

Such collaboration would add value to OUHK's business programmes and the development of the professional institutions. Furthermore, this would improve the technical and professional skills of learners and members working in both small and large businesses, the public sector and consultancy. In the long run, this will be beneficial for the competitiveness of the Hong Kong economy as a whole.

Our business programmes are recognized by a number of professional institutions and exemptions have been granted to our students after they reach the requirements of the programmes. For details of exemptions, please see below:

   Accounting
   Corporate Administration / Corporate Governance
   Finance
   Human Resources Management
   Marketing

All information is subject to changes made by the professional institutions. It is the student's responsibility to confirm the exemptions and recognition with the relevant professional institutions.
