About The Youth Oasis
The Po Leung Kuk Lee Shau Kee Youth Oasis (Youth Oasis) is part of the HKSAR Government's "Youth Hostel Scheme", the idea was being initiated at the policy address in 2011. Youth Oasis locates at Yuen Long, estimated for completion in the first half of 2022 to offer 1,680 residential places for renting by working youths at half of the market rent level and with various services to assist young people to build capacity, share with peers, and expand networking for future development. It implies a place full of dynamics, culture, enlightenment and support for working youth to equip themselves. The project of Youth Oasis demonstrates a good example of the quadripartite cooperation between the Government, Social Services sectors, private land developers (as donor), business sectors, even involving the public and local communities.
