Eligibility Criteria:
Open to all current full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students of B&A programmes (including students enrolled in double-degree programmes)
 
How to Join:
 
  1. Four B&A’s Culinary Artists / Mixologists have invented their dishes and beverage for a healthy and delicious lunch set for business executives' as shown in the pictures.
  2. Participants should prepare ONE of the dishes / beverage according to the pictures for the particular category.
  3. With only the pictures and NO RECIPE provided, participants should try to guess the ingredients and preparation method, and improvise in order to prepare the dish / beverage.
  4. Participants should email the following to us via ba_admissions@ouhk.edu.hk with the subject: “Master Chef Entry – (*category*)” (e.g. Master Chef Entry – Salad):
i.   A picture* showing you while you are preparing the dish / beverage.
ii.  A picture* of the final product of your creation. You will be judged not just on the accuracy of your recipe, but also on how well you package and market the dish / beverage. So make it look enticing! Touchup and photo-editing are allowed.
iii. The title you give to the dish / beverage and full recipe.
 
     * YOU MUST SHOW YOUR FACE IN BOTH PICTURES FOR (i) AND (ii).

Judging Criteria:
All entries will be judged by a panel of judges:
(1) Your entry should follow the dish / beverage shown in the picture as much as possible in terms of colour and overall presentation (Remember your pictures should be in high quality),
(2) You may touch up your submitted pictures with your creativity, particularly for picture (ii), to make it attractive and aromatic in a 2 dimensional setting, and
(3) Your recipe submitted should contain a good name for the dish / beverage and with a list of ingredients and the amount required, step-by-step directions in proper sequence, cooking time and temperature and size of serving. In short, others should be able to follow your recipe to prepare the dish / beverage.

Terms and Conditions:
  1. Only individual entries will be accepted for this competition. Group submission will NOT be accepted.
  2. Each participant can only submit ONE entry and to ONE competition category.
  3. Your entry should relate clearly to the theme “Healthy and Tasty Lunch Set for Business Executives
  4. Contestant places are limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. All participants with qualified entries will receive a $25 coupon for Pacific Coffee.
  5. Results of the competition will be announced in September.
  6. The School reserves the right to forbid and/or exclude, in its sole and absolute discretion, any individual from the competition process for any reason, including but not limited to the violation of any portion of these Terms and Conditions.
  7. The judgment/decision of the School on the competition results shall be final.
