On 24 July 2019, the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration signed an agreement with Dale Carnegie Training. Under the agreement, Dale Carnegie Training will provide professional training and development solutions to our students under the Leadership Development Project focusing in two facets:
1) Business Professional Development Workshops
2) Lifelong Leaders & Ambassadors: “Skills for Success” & “High Impact Presentations”
The aim of Leadership Development Project is to equip students with practical skills to assist their transition from collegiate to realistic working environment upon graduation. After the completion of these workshops and programmes, students will be trained to be a fully-fledged professional with assertiveness and self-confidence and also be equipped with the competence to influence others by insightful analysis and persuasion.
Each year, Dale Carnegie’s training professionals will conduct Business Leadership Development Workshops for over 1,600 students in the School. Some students will have the opportunity to attend a 3-day programme “Skills for Success” to further sharpen their skills. However, that’s not the end of the story. Selected students will get to attend a 2-day programme named “High Impact Presentations” to establish their self-confidence to solicit trust and earn respect from working partners.
The signing of the agreement demonstrates the School’s commitment to nurture young business talents, and to enable our students with a wide range of career choices and professional advancement.
