BUS B200F Interim Camp
Learning happens everywhere, not just in classroom. Starting from the academic year 2018-19, the School offers an engaging learning experience to Year 1 students through a newly launched course BUS B200F Integrated Business Foundation. With the recent initiatives, students can gain a comprehensive understanding on the contemporary business ecosystem through traditional classroom learning, interim camp, hackathon and business showcase.
Over 400 Year 1 students and academic staff joined the camp in 9-11 January and 14-16 January 2019. Apart from knowledge introduction, the camp consisted of various team building activities to enhance collaboration and problem solving skills of students in tackling challenging situations in today’s business environment. Students also had an opportunity to understand more about themselves for self-improvement, and unleash their potential for career development in the future.
“Communication is important when we encountered difficulties. To overcome them, we should proactively talk to other members, ask for help and advice,” one student shared. With reflection and debriefing sessions, students have become more confident in handling different situations.
