    Global Immersion Programme
     
     
    In this globalised world, market opportunities and business operations are not restricted by national boundaries. In view of this, the School organises a Global Immersion Programme (GIP) to enhance students’ international exposure and increase their potential to excel in the fast changing global business environment.
     
    GIP aims to engage students with global and regional social and economic issues and build their understanding of the international business environment for the benefit of their future career development. The overall objectives of the programmes are:
    1. To enhance students’ cultural awareness;
    2. To engage students in different cultural contexts;
    3. To build students’ understanding of the cultural impacts on international organisation and business operations; and
    4. To prepare students for the challenges in the international business environment
    All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students will enrol in the GIP. The Undergraduate Global Immersion Programme (UG-GIP) comprises of four non-credit bearing courses, which are designed to enhance students’ intercultural awareness and communication skills, and help students to develop a global mindset.
     
    GIP Courses
     
    *only applicable to BBA (Hons) in Global Business and Marketing, Bachelor of International Hospitality and Attractions Management with Honours, Bachelor of Hospitality Management or Bachelor of Theme Park Management programme
     
    For UG-GIP, students will bear the cost of air passage, food, accommodation, and local expenses. Student may apply for funding support including Reaching Out Award and All-round Student Award available in the School and University.
     
    For Postgraduate Global Immersion Programme, the fees for the Global Immersion Programme will be HK$47,100 (subject to annual review), which do not include air passage, food, accommodation and other incidental expenses.
