Updates on Teaching and Learning Arrangements for 2022 Spring Term for Distance Learning Programmes
2022-01-24
Dear Students,
The 2021 Autumn Term is coming to a close.
In view of the recent resurgence of Covid-19 cases in Hong Kong, the University has reviewed its teaching and learning arrangements for the 2022 Spring Term and decided to make the following adjustment:
Tutorials: For the first week of the Spring Term (i.e. 31 January 2022 – 6 February 2022), tutorials, if any, will be delivered online only. From the second week onwards (i.e. from 7 February), tutorials will be delivered online, hybrid (i.e. face-to-face and online real-time simultaneously) or face-to-face with video recording for individual courses as determined by respective Schools. Schools/Course Coordinators will send information regarding the courses to students separately.
Laboratory sessions and Practicums will remain face-to-face. Some adjustments may be necessary and Schools will send information to students concerned separately, if needed.
Final examinations will remain unchanged and take the form of on-campus invigilated examinations.
The University will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and make any necessary adjustments as and when required.
Please continue to maintain good personal hygiene, stay vigilant and healthy. May I take this opportunity to wish you and your family good health and a prosperous Year of the Tiger!
Sincerely,
Reggie Kwan
Provost
