(For students of Undergraduate (Full-time) programmes who have completed Part-time (Distance Learning) courses, please refer to paragraphs 5 & 6.)

    Dear Students,

    1.

If you are studying Part-time (Distance Learning) Programme (including Postgraduate programmes and Day-time programmes) and will be eligible for graduation after 2020 Spring examinations, you are required to apply to receive your awards in August 2020.  (Please note that students are strongly advised to submit the Form G-GR before the course results of 2020 Spring examinations are confirmed.)

To apply for graduation, students should complete the Form G-GR and return it to the Advanced Standing and Graduation Office by mail, fax or on-line through the OUHK website (http://www.ouhk.edu.hk) (go to Current Students → login to “MyOUHK” → My Programme → [Graduation Plan] → Graduation → Application for Graduation).  The deadline for application is 14 June 2020.

    2.

Based on your application for graduation and upon confirmation of all the course results for the 2020 Spring examinations, potential graduands will receive the followings by mail in mid-July:

      (i) a notification confirming their eligibility for graduation (Form G-GRC); and
(ii) a debit note for graduation fee.

Potential graduands are required to complete the Form G-GRC and pay the graduation fee on or before
    27 July 2020
.  If potential graduands do not receive the notification by 23 July 2020, they should contact the Advanced Standing and Graduation Office immediately.

    3.

Upon completion of the above procedures and subject to approval by the University Senate, the awards will be conferred in August 2020.

    4. Since some of the academic plans in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, and School of Education and Languages have different concentrations / strands, students should ensure that a correct intended award is declared.  Please note that students cannot revoke an award after conferment.

For students of Undergraduate (Full-time) programmes who have completed Part-time (Distance Learning) course(s)

    5.

If you are pursuing Undergraduate (Full-time) programmes and wish to have the credits of the Part-time (Distance Learning) course(s) counted towards the Undergraduate (Full-time) programmes for the conferment of August 2020, you are required to complete the  Form G-GR-F and return it to the Advanced Standing and Graduation Office by
14 June 2020(Please note that students are strongly advised to submit the Form G-GR-F before the course results of 2020 Spring examinations are confirmed.)
