Teaching and Learning Arrangements for 2022 Summer Term 2022-04-04

    Dear students,

We hope you are doing well and your study in the 2022 Spring Term is progressing smoothly.

I am writing to share with you the University’s plan for learning and teaching in the 2022 Summer Term, which will start on 30 May 2022 for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; and on 13 June 2022 for part-time distance learning programmes.  In view of the unpredictable epidemic development in Hong Kong, the University has decided to continue with online teaching arrangements, as follows:

Lectures and Tutorials will be delivered in online mode only.

Laboratory sessions and Practicums with essential face-to-face elements will be arranged by respective Schools.  Schools will inform the students concerned of the detailed arrangement (which can be a mix of face-to-face, online, or hybrid components).

End-of-term Examination will take the form of on-campus invigilated examinations if situation permits. The University will monitor the development of the pandemic and make necessary adjustment by taking into account requirements of individual courses.

Please get vaccinated, observe social distancing and maintain good personal and environmental hygiene practices.  Take care and stay healthy!

    Sincerely,

    Reggie Kwan
    Provost
