    Insider’s perspective: book on art and design published by alumna


    Ruth Cheung Che-chun

    Bachelor of General Studies 1997


    After graduating from the OUHK, Ruth pursued her further studies in art and design education and later started a teaching career in the field. She published a book in May to share the stories of herself and 12 others who are also from the art and design sector, providing reference and support for those who wish to join the industry.

    After publishing two collections of romantic love essays, Adelaide has published her third book in June.


    Contributing to early childhood education development in Myanmar


    Thura Kyaw

    Thura has been working in early childhood education in Myanmar for 14 years. With the knowledge gained from the OUHK, he has been contributing to early childhood education development of his motherland by hosting parenting workshops, writing related articles as well as sharing insights in local radios and televisions.

    Mamta Chandiram Hotchandani

    Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Business Management 2014


    Mamta is an Indian who was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduation, she joined the banking and financial industry and has been keen on volunteering. This year, her name has been included in the Diversity List 2020 prepared by The Zubin Foundation. The list, comprising committed ethnic minority individuals who have the skills, experience and passion to serve on Government advisory committees, will be put forth to the Chief Executive for consideration with an aim to boost ethnic minority representation in policy-making and advisory committees of the Government.
