Don’t let university life just end after graduation! Forming an alumni group and gathering regularly with schoolmates having similar educational background, interests, and social networks will benefit you, your schoolmates and upcoming graduates. The group you form will also contribute to your alma mater’s continuous development.
What you should consider before forming an alumni group
While forming an alumni group takes only a few steps, it is a long term commitment to the OUHK and your fellow alumni. We suggest you think about the following:

Am I an OUHK alumnus/alumna#?

Do I have enough time to manage the group?

Do I have alumni friends who find common cause and are willing to commit and contribute to the group as executive members on the long term?

Can I come up with a feasible mechanism to ensure the sustainable growth of the group; for example, how to recruit new members and form committees?
# OUHK alumni are those who are our graduates, or have obtained at least five credits and are currently not studying with us for five consecutive semesters.
Four steps to establishing an alumni group
1.
Think about the name and objectives of the group.
2.

Secretary

Finance Director

Director of Membership

Director of Public Relations.
3.
Please read carefully the Policies and Guidelines for OUHK Alumni Groups and submit the following documents to the Alumni Affairs Office (AAO):
