在職人士首選遙距兼讀制課程 Distance education‧Part time degree

Established by the Hong Kong Government, the Open University of Hong Kong is the pioneer in delivering distance education and Part time degree to working adults. Its programmes are recognized by the Hong Kong SAR Government, employers and even professional bodies locally and overseas.

Distance learning course is NOT like a correspondence course. In fact, distance learning at OUHK is supported by video and audio programmes, computer software, interactive CD-ROMs and broadcast TV programmes. Regular interaction by hotline, tutorials and lectures with academic staff is also available. Distance learners can study anytime and anywhere at their own paces. Students are assessed by completion of assignments at regular intervals and pass at examinations. Once students complete the required credits, they can choose to graduate at the relevant qualification levels.

Many of the universities in Hong Kong, including OUHK, offer Part time degree for working adults. Our graduates of part-time and distance learning programmes as well as full time programmes reaches 88,000. Its flexibility in the study modes is welcome by working adults in Hong Kong.
