  • Regulations for the Associate of Business Administration (in Chinese)

    Programme Information for New Students
      To facilitate your registration, check the course information by inputting the course code   
    These regulations are made under paragraphs 1 to 4 of the Regulations for the Award of Sub-degree Qualifications (Sub-degrees).

    In these regulations definitions shall apply as in the Regulations for the Award of Sub-degree Qualifications and in the Interpretation Section of the Academic Rules and Regulations.
     

    Associate of Business Administration (in Chinese) (ABAC07)
    1. To be eligible for the award of the Associate of Business Administration (in Chinese), a student shall:
      a) comply with the Regulations for Admission, Registration and Maintenance of Status; and
      b) comply with the Regulations for the Award of Sub-degree Qualifications (Sub-degrees); and
      c) obtain at least 80 credits in courses prescribed by the regulations.
    2. For the Associate of Business Administration (in Chinese), the University has prescribed that a student must:
      a) successfully complete 60 credits from courses in Table 1; and
      b) successfully complete 20 credits from any courses offered by the University of which at least 15 credits must be at Foundation level or above.

    Notes:

    1. Courses form excluded combinations with other courses. Only one of the courses of the excluded combinations can count towards an OUHK award. Students should refer to the attached list for details.
       
    2. BUS B170C has been replaced by BUS B171C and BUS B172C/BUS B272C. If students have successfully completed BUS B170C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for BUS B171C and BUS B172C/BUS B272C. BUS B171C and BUS B272C have been combined into BUS B273C. If students have successfully completed BUS B171C and BUS B272C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for BUS B273C.
       
    3. If students have successfully completed BUS B190C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for BUS B191C.
       
    4. If students have successfully completed ACT B211C and ACT B212C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for ACT B210C.
       
    5. LAW B260C has been replaced by LAW B262C and LAW B263C. If students have successfully completed LAW B260C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for LAW B262C.
       
    6. If students have successfully completed ACT B303C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for FIN B280C.
       
    7. ECON A230C has been replaced by ECON A231C and ECON A232C. If students have successfully completed ECON A230C, they are deemed to have satisfied the requirements for ECON A231C and ECON A232C.
       
    8. Courses presented in full time face-to-face mode are identical to courses with the same course code but without the suffix "F". Students who have successfully completed courses presented in full time face-to-face mode are not allowed to take the same courses in the distance learning mode, and vice versa.
