    Dr John Li Han-hong, Lecturer in English Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, obtained his PhD in Linguistics from the City University of Hong Kong. He has taught at several local tertiary institutions. His research interests mainly focus on applied linguistics, covering lexicography, corpus linguistics, computational linguistics (natural language processing) and computer-assisted language learning and teaching. Dr Li is currently an editorial board member of the International Journal of Computational Linguistics.

    Dr Anna Tso Wing-bo, Lecturer in English Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, graduated from the University of Hong Kong and obtained her PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining the OUHK, she taught at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include language arts, children's literature, gender studies and translation studies. She has published in various international refereed journals.

    School of Education and Languages

    Dr Eve Chen Siu-ling, Assistant Professor in Education, holds a Bachelor's Degree and an MPhil from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also received a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a PhD from the University of Hong Kong. Dr Chen has taught at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests are child studies, family studies, gender studies, child counselling, and whole-person development and whole-person education in young children.

    Dr Edward Chu Yuk-wo, Lecturer in Education, obtained his Doctoral, Master's and Bachelor's Degrees from Durham University, the University of Hong Kong and the City University of Hong Kong respectively. Prior to joining the OUHK, he was the Prefect of Studies and head of the English department at a local secondary school. His research interests include bilingual education and language across the curriculum.

    School of Science and Technology

    Dr Raymond So Wing-cheung, Lecturer in Computing, received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and his Master's Degree and PhD from the University of Melbourne. He has worked in multinational companies in Hong Kong and Australia, where he gained extensive experience in large-scale system development and IT project management. His research interests include intelligent software agents, agent-based software engineering and cognitive architecture.
