A group of 16 students in Year 3 of the Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General Health Care/Mental Health Care programmes visited the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou University Town from 8 to 13 May. During the six-day study trip, the students received clinical training in various disciplines, including oncology, acupuncture and integrated surgery. Students gained greater understanding of the basic skills of Chinese medical care and the benefits brought about by integrating traditional Chinese and western medicine in clinical applications.
