Bachelor of Science with Honours in Testing Science (Food)

‘Food’ is one of the six selected industries identified by the Government with a potential demand for testing and certification services and good development potential.

Introduction

The Bachelor of Science with Honours in Testing Science (Food) is a two-year top-up degree programme.

Applicants with a recognized Higher Diploma or Associate Degree (or its equivalent) in testing and certification, food or a related discipline will be considered.

Aims

This programme is specially designed for Higher Diploma or Associate Degree graduates who are keen to work in the food testing and certification industry.

The programme covers essential and comprehensive knowledge of food safety, food testing, and certification. Graduates of this programme will not only have the competence to embark on a career in relevant food industries, but are also well qualified for further study in testing and certification, food sciences or other related disciplines.
