    The OUHK 25th Anniversary Exhibition

To demonstrate the development of the OUHK and its contribution to society over the years, the University presented a 25th Anniversary Exhibition. The exhibition took place on 20-23 September at CityWalk II, Tsuen Wan. Under the main theme of 'Pace your Race for Knowledge, Sprint to your Dreams', the show introduced the history of the University and the various types of programmes it offers.

Council Chairman Dr Eddy C Fong and President Prof. Yuk-Shan Wong officiated at the exhibition’s opening ceremony. This was followed by fantastic performances by pop group C AllStar as well as OUHK student Mr Chan Chun-hin, second runner-up at the World Yo-yo Contest, and his twin brother Mr Chan Chun-hay with their stunning yo-yo tricks. Various displays presented the Schools, programmes and student activities at the OUHK, and the visual theme of rowing was integrated into the exhibition design to represent the vigor and vitality of the University. A 3D stereo camera zone and interactive games added an extra dimension and staff and student ambassadors were present to answer questions on the spot.

    Pace your Race for Knowledge,
    Sprint to your Dreams

Established as a tertiary institution providing flexible and quality distance learning education to aspiring adults, the OUHK has built on this strength to develop full-time face-to-face programmes. Today, at the cutting edge of teaching as well as educational technology, the OUHK has become a genuine multi-mode university providing associate degree, degree and postgraduate programmes through distance learning, face-to-face, e-learning and blended learning modes.
Moving forward with two modes like a boat with two oars, the University guides its students to ride the winds and break the waves. Rowing is a team sport in which each rower benefits. Although the strength and potential of the rowers vary, as long as they work together, each team member can demonstrate their talent and fulfil their dreams.
