Associate Vice President Prof. Ip Yiu-keung and Mainland China Projects Coordinator Ms Shi Xuemei met with Assistant to the President of South University of Science and Technology of China Mr Ye Qin and representatives of the Zhuhai College of Jilin University on 10 and 16 June respectively to exchange views on enhancing collaboration.


Full-time programmes open to mainland students

The recruitment of full-time students from mainland China has been completed, and a record high number of 445 applications have been received, the highest number since recruitment began in 2006. Interviews were conducted on 26–27 June in Shenzhen with a total of 47 students being admitted.


Mainland students attend residential school and graduation ceremony

On 7–11 July, the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration held its residential school graduation ceremony for its 184 postgraduate students. Among them are 155 MBA students and 29 students of the Master of Professional Accounting programme from seven partner institutions in the mainland. Apart from seminars and visits to various organizations, they also attended the graduation ceremony held on 11 July on the Ho Man Tin campus.
