Business leaders visit the OUHK

To facilitate networking opportunities and to strengthen cooperation with the business community, the OUHK frequently invites organizations from the commercial sector to visit the University.

A nine-member delegation from the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, led by Vice-Chairmen Dr Ian Chan and Mr Lam Shu-chit, visited the OUHK on 7 August. During the meeting, President Prof. Yuk-Shan Wong gave a presentation on the current development of the University and its future plans, and the two parties exchanged ideas on various educational issues. The visit concluded with a campus tour of Jubilee College.

On 22 August, a delegation of 30 representatives from the Fukien Chamber of Commerce, led by Chairman Mr Lam Ming-sum and Honorary President Mr Jose Yu Sun-say, met with President Prof. Yuk-Shan Wong, Vice President Prof. Danny Wong and senior staff members. Members of the delegation gained a better understanding of the OUHK’s mission, modes of study and future development plans. After the meeting, the delegation paid a visit to the nursing laboratory and creative arts studio in Jubilee College.
