Education and English Studies student selected for Poland exchange programme

Education and English studies double degree student Amanda Lee Man-lok was shortlisted for the International Youth Exchange Programme jointly organized by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Commission on Youth. She joined 11 other outstanding young people from Hong Kong to travel to Poland on 13 to 23 July. They attended lessons with local students, visited scenic spots and historical sites, and even had the opportunity to attend the graduation ceremony of the local students. Amanda was deeply impressed by her visit to the Warsaw Uprising Museum, showcasing the history of Poland through a substantial number of pictures, audio-visual presentations, ruins and debris of buildings, replicas of weapons, etc., all of which provide a testimonial to the horror of war.
