    Strategies for Exam Success

    If you’re one to put hours into revising for an exam only to be disappointed with the results, then you may need to rethink your revision methods. You could be in a wrong way and be wasting time on inefficient techniques.  Or if you are used to suffering from last-minute cramming before examinations, you should never miss this workshop.

    The “Strategies for Exam Success” workshop aims to helping students:
    1. plan useful study strategies;
    2. look for effective revision techniques; and
    3. apply their understanding and ability quickly and effectively to exam/ take-home assignments.
    This workshop is divided into two parts.

    i. Revision Strategies

    • Tips on walking through assessment criteria
    • Systematic preparation for written/ online assessments
    • Making the perfect study timetable

    ii. Understanding assessment/ exam questions

    • Academic success secret: Bloom’s Taxonomy Packet
    • Answer questions right: 6 levels of question types for open-ended questions
    • Tips on exam case-study/ scenario questions
