    OUHK Sports Awards Scheme - Best Athlete of the Year 2020/21
    Do you remember who the Best Athlete was for the year 2019? Unfortunately, the selection last year was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to announce that OUHK Sports Awards Scheme - Best Athlete of the Year (the Scheme) is coming back this year. We are looking for one male athlete and one female athlete. If you think you have good sports performance and contribution to the University, please apply for the Scheme at once.
    About the Scheme
    OUHK Sports Awards Scheme - Best Athlete of the Year 2020/21 is open for all OUHK full-time students to apply for. Applications will be assessed on the basis of excellence in both academics and sports achievements, the amount of the scholarship is up to HKD 10,000.
    Purpose of the Scheme
    The scheme serves as recognition for the achievement and efforts of the athletes representing OUHK to compete in the inter-universities competitions organized by the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK) among local tertiary institutions or any reputable tournaments in the tertiary education community.
    Applicants must fulfil the criteria listed below:
    (i) Current full-time students in academic year 2020/21;
    (ii) Demonstrated exceptional sporting prowess in inter-universities competitions or local or overseas high-level competitions;
    (iii) Demonstrated good sportsmanship and contribution to OUHK; and
    (iii) Met the GPA requirements (cumulative GPA not less than 2.0 in academic year 2020/21)
