    An insider’s guide

5 easy everyday tips to improve your English
    • Take small steps regularly – set aside at least one session of 15-20 minutes per day for learning English.
    • Choose learning materials according to your English level – Start with materials that are within your reach, i.e. you can understand the content and the vocabulary is not too difficult.
    • Look for something practical – Every day, learn 1-2 new words/expressions that you can use afterwards, no need to aim for big words.
    • Aim to use as much English as possible in your daily life
      • Set English as your phone language
      • Listen to more English songs
      • Watch English news/movies/TV series with English subtitles
      • Find a language partner to practise talking in English
      • Download a Dictionary App for explanation in simpler English instead of using google translate
    • Read more academic English – Start with your basic text books and then gradually to more advanced academic articles.
