OUHK graduates may use a completed OUHK award for advanced standing applications towards a second OUHK programme.
Applications towards postgraduate programmes must be based on a postgraduate level award. However, Postgraduate Diplomas in Education (PGDEs) may only be used for applications towards PGDEs and undergraduate programmes.
The maximum entitlement of claimants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Credit Transfer Types and Award Criteria
The three types of credit transfer, namely, General Credit Transfer (GCT), Specific Credit Transfer (SCT) and Block Credit Transfer (BCT) are available. General Credit Transfer is only available for programmes with free-choice requirements.
For BCT and GCT applications, the normal award criteria shall apply.
For SCT applications, SCT shall be awarded towards a course for counting into the second programme based on the same course having been completed and counted into the first award.

Applicants are required to pay the new fees if the applications are received on or after 1 September 2021. For applications sent in by mail, the cut-off date will be determined in accordance with the postmark.
