Katie Shu Sui Pui Charitable Trust –
Residence Scholarship Programme
The “Katie Shu Sui Pui Charitable Trust – Residence Scholarship Programme” launched in academic year 2019/20, which aims to assist Mainland Chinese students, in particular those with financial need arising from residence, to better immerse in campus life and the community of Hong Kong. All continuing full-time Mainland Chinese students in their second, third and fourth year of undergraduate study at the OUHK are eligible to apply for the Scholarship. Applicants should be in good academic standing, and a total of 30 awards will be given every year with 10 awards to be granted to each of the non-freshmen cohorts. Each successful applicant will be awarded a scholarship up to HK$30,000 per annum to ease the financial burden resulting from high accommodation costs.
The Residence Scholarship Programme for academic year 2020/21 is now open for application. Interested students may refer to the email from Student Affairs Office in early Nov 2020 for the application guideline and submit an online application together with the testimony and documents by the application deadline.
Late applications and incomplete submissions will NOT be considered. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the interview session.
