Open InnoChallenge (OIC) is a brand-new endeavor organized by Student Affairs Office (SAO) aiming to unleash students’ creativity and innovation; and enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills to translate the innovative ideas “into viable operation” for profit or for social good.
Application and Assessment Process
OIC is open for application now. The applicants should complete the training listed as below:
Stage 1: Open InnoCamp – Intensive 2-day Training Workshops (Register here)
Date: 22 October 2018 (Monday) and 25 October 2018 (Thursday)
Content: Team building, design thinking and lean canvas
Stage 2: Open InnoCoaching – Individual Coaching (Proof of Concept)
Date: November 2018 (by appointment)
The team(s) should complete at least 2-hour individual coaching for their idea consolidation.
Stage 3: Final Assessment
The teams who completed Stage 1 (Open InnoCamp) and Stage 2 (Open InnoCoaching) can directly enter into the final round of assessment presenting their proposal to Final Judging Panel to compete for the Implementation Fund.
All OUHK full-time or part-time* students and recent graduates# are eligible to apply for enrollment in the Programme.
*Part-time students who enrolled any courses from academic year 2017/18 onwards are eligible.
#Alumni graduated in academic year 2017/18 are eligible.
