About Google Suite for Education
‘Google Suite for Education’ is a suite of productivity tools built for teaching and learning. It is provided by Google free of charge for the University. ‘Google Suite for Education’ includes Google Gmail, Google Drive, Google Classroom and other Google Apps with unlimited storage. To access your email messages in Mobile phones/devices, students can install Gmail App in the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
Google Gmail Account
A special type of Google Gmail account is required for using the apps and services under ‘Google Suite for Education’. The format of the Google Gmail account for OUHK Student is:
'g' + first 7 digits of OUHK Student ID + '@study.ouhk.edu.hk'
(e.g. g1234567@study.ouhk.edu.hk)
